Tien-Yow Jeme Civil Engineering Prize
Introduction
The Tien-Yow Jeme Civil Engineering Prize was set up in 1999.The purpose of opening Prize is to apply the outstanding science & technology theory to practice, enhance the constructive level of civil projects and promote the science & technology advancement. The Prize will encourage and commend the excellent civil engineering projects those are brilliant in science innovation and application in our country. The Prize will show innovational, advanced and authoritative characteristics in election.
The Tien-Yow Jeme Prize is the greatest honor in the field of civil engineering construction of nationwide. It was awarded by China Civil Engineering Society and the Tien-Yow Jeme Civil Engineering Science & Technology Development Fund and supported by China Association for Science and Technology, Ministry of Construction P .R .China, Ministry of Railway P .R .China, Ministry of Communication P.R .China, Ministry of Water Resources, P .R .China. About 20 general awards will be selected once a year. Up to the present it has be hold successfully 6 years.
The Tien-Yow Jeme Prize is under Tien-Yow Jeme Science &Technology in Civil Engineering Prize (It was ratified by the Ministry of Science and Technology in March,2003).The Prize was taken cognizance of one of three major encouraging projects in the field of construction by Ministry of Construction P .R .China.
Our Prize are include following projects: building and common architecture engineering; bridge engineering; traffic engineering( railway, highway);irrigation engineering; port engineering; tunnel and underground engineering; geotechnical engineering; municipal engineering(include water supply and sewage engineering, gas engineering);special type engineering( shielding engineering, water and nucleus electricity engineering; tower-mast engineering
